Updating Drivers on Mac
  • BlackLightBlackLight December 2008
Recently I've been playing newer games (i.e., Fallout 3) on my Mac laptop via Boot Camp. However, I'd like to update my drivers for my video card and such on my Windows, however, I'm unsure of how to go about this, as I'm not sure whether I can download the drivers off Windows or do I have to make a new Boot camp CD or whatever. Hopefully Gov or someone with Mac experience can throw me a bone here.

What card do you have? The Radeon X1600 or the nVidia Based cards?

http://ati.amd.com/support/drivers/mac/bootcamp-xp.html Radeon Cards here. I need to get these myself.

    http://laptopvideo2go.com/ nVidia based cards here.

I have the 1600, I'll try it next time I'm on Windows. I can download them from Windows, right, or do I have to download them on os x and then burn a disc with the drivers or what?

Download them in Windows, just like you would anything else. If you want, you can download them in Mac OS and burn them to a disk, but it is not necessary.
