Clinton wants those awful guns that are "causing" all the violence in Mexico banned in the US. Does this make sense to anyone? -

She was referring to a ban on the sale of such powerful guns which was in effect in the United Sates between 1994 and 2004.

Not sure if I did this right. Does anyone notice anything odd here?
Does the major spike coincide with Bush Sr. taking office? What types of guns were used to commit those crimes? Assault type weapons or handguns or hunting weapons? I shall delve into this a bit more. -

Societal ills such as gun crime follow a complex and oft random model which can hardly be accurately compared to a single stimulus such as a ban on weapons without taking into account poverty and unemployment levels, availability of resources and overall welfare of the citizenry.

Totally not true. I think an increase in the number and severity of laws targeting those who do not follow laws, to create the illusion of control, is the key.
