    I heard not being an asshole leads to gaining respect, and therefore make people actually want to help out and work and generally do stuff.

    It could be true or not we never know, people are greedy enough to go in court for money with any story.

    explain who was wrong, the people in the story or the people who think that not being an ass gets work done. mostly...

    and yeah. It occured to me that this guy could be making it up to get some cash, but they never outright denied that they did it. They just say that they have some unorthodox methods of motivation and they say that the guy accused is a good guy and a good worker.
