    Sure it is, "art" has been doing that a long time, taking pieces of other artist's work and working it into a new form.

    The guy doesn't talk on his site about what these books are. Some of them look pretty old and unlike a normal dictionary, which could make them rare, but I'd hope he would refrain from destroying somebodies unique work to make his own. That would be like taking the real mona lisa and painting a smiley face instead of her head.
