New Router=High Ping

    I've got a new Netgear Super -G Wireless Router (WGT624) and ever since than all my games and ventrillo received high ping. Ventrillo went from being around 10 ping to being around 100 ping while some steam games such as counter-strike I would normally have 35 ping in a server I now have 100 ping.

    I set up the router and set up the security for the router, but I am not sure if I'm missing a step? Does anyone have an idea what is going wrong?

    that or if your wireless... wires are typically more reliable
